Anshuman Iddamsetty is a Tkaronto-based artist, writer, and erotic performer laser-focused on fat liberation. His non-fiction debut, Hello Pig: Notes for a Fat Future, is forthcoming on Strange Light, an imprint of Penguin Random House Canada. He is represented by Martha Webb of CookeMcDermid.
He was nominated for the 2019 Knickerbocker Award For Best Video Game Journalism for his essay, "How Video Games Demonize Fat People" (The Outline, 2018) and is a two-time National Magazine Award finalist for his essays "Swole Without a Goal" (Hazlitt, 2016) and "The Year in Thickness" (Hazlitt, 2015).
Previously, he was a podcast producer for Shopify and host of Vanguard by Shopify Studios, the audiovisual producer and art director for Hazlitt, and a radio producer for CBC Radio.
